Court jurisdiction

Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 22 December 2011 This query is : Resolved 
I am tranferred to J&K. My earlier posting was in Uttrakahand. My deptt.'s Registered Head Office is in Haryana. My home town is in U.P. I have yet to join the new place of posting. I want to go to high court against above transfer order.In which high court can I file writ petirion? Can my wife file a suit for my harassment?If yes, in which court? She is in U.P.

i believe that its repeated query any way you can file your working company place high court.

Transfer is not a ground to invoke the doors of high court as generally high court do not entertain such matters being a prerogative of the employer to transfer its employees at any place and there may be various criteria before the management before taking such decision.

but I have been punished for seeking certain informations related to corruption, that's why I think case is fit for court's intervention

1.your wife has no cause of action.
2.let it be any thing you too have no cause of action.
3.you can try in uttara kahnd or in haryana

Since you have not disclosed whole issue, then It is advisable to discuss whole issue with lawyer of high court, if he advise you, then you can go ahead.

It is to be noted that your wife has no cause of action prima facie.
