2. Regulation
3. Guidelines
4. Rules
5. Circulars
6. Notifications.

pls claifiy at the earliest.

ACT: A legal document codifying the result of deliberations of a committee or society or legislative body.

REGULATION: The act of controlling or directing according to rule. An Authoritative rule

GUIDELINE: A rule or principle that provides guidance to appropriate behavior.

RULES: A principle or condition that customarily governs behavior, it is SYNONYMOUS with Regulation.

CIRCULARS: An advertisement (usually printed on a page or in a leaflet) intended for wide distribution.

Mr. vishal is right. + Notification means official declaration. eg. Notification about enactment or comencement of of a law. Further added that an Act,Rule and regulation always have binding effect and enforciable by Court.on the other hand,guideline, G.O.,circular, office memorandum are normally guiding in nature and can not be enforced by Court.
