Sms/email & voice recording as evidence

Is SMS or email considered as a valid evidence under Evidence Act and can that be used to refute any charge.

Also, guide on the validity of voice recording as well as an evidence.

SMS is also covered under section 45 of Evidence Act but voice recording is a crucial issue to be proved. It is required to be duly established by authentic laboratory that voice recording is proper. If this is done with the help of court only then it is admissible in evidence.
