Time limit for judgement on cases related with Education

For cases regarding admission, and others is there any time limit fixed by the courts or they can take their own time to reply. My case is pending with Orissa High Court more than six months. It is about getting my registration number for PhD. I am 60 and don't know when my case will be heard and i get justice.

You can file a petition requesting the court to fix an early date for disposal of your case.
