Is change of name required

In my marks sheets my father's name is mentioned as Raju, but in all his ID cards his name is mentioned as Thimmegowda. Now when I am applying for the bank account or election ID card or Driving License or Ration card, the name of my father is mentioned as Thimmegowda. Can anyone please let me know if there will be any problems in future, if my marks sheets and my ID cards show two different names of my father.

Each organisation has its own requirements & standards of verification. So its difficult to predict future problems. If your father is alive, it is advisable that U get a declaration from him. If that is not possible, U will have to give the necessary declaration in future. However, I do not foresee any insurmountable problem as there are many ways & means to prove your identity in a foolproof manner.
