Dear sir I had got contract for internet connection with reliance on 2009
Then after 1 year I had cancelled the contract because of was tetting false bills so I cleared all the bills but im still getting calls from their lawyers to do settlement or face the court so kindly give ur advice I dont have the receipt of the bill since I no longer reside on the address and its been 4 years.

you have stated that you cancelled internet connection in 2010 and cleared all bills .i presume payment has been made by cheque . if more than 3 years have passed claim if any would be barred by limitation

Confirm from your records when you cleared your dues. The claim of Reliance seems to be time barred.

Simply ask them to send a written notice with details of the claim instead of making phone calls, as some of their lawyers just try to make their existence only on commission payments on being able to realise the outstanding bills of the company.
