Hi ,
Recently i purchased a apartment and sales agreement was done. As builder/owner not accepting to provide Occupancy certificate, decided to go no further I asked builder/owner to cancel the sales agreement and return my money back. He paid back my money and he sold that apartment to another person. But still my sales agreement is with me and no action has been taken formally on sales agreement. Will this be a problem in future ?

One you got refund of your earnest money and thereafter the said property has been sold to some other person, the question of future problem at least for you, do not arise.

Yes. I got refund and now the apartment has been sold to other person.But my sales agreement has not been formally cancelled. Just thinking, may be in future, builder can comeback and create some troubles... Thanks for you information

As the agreement is in your favour so problem can be got created by you and not by builder.

If you wanted to get the Sale Agreement executed, why did you accept earnest money, you must have gone for performance of contractual obligation on the part of owner/builder.
Now it is better if you may feel satisfied and keep silent on the issue
