On the basis of mere original title deed possession can not be established. You need further proof to prove your occupation in the suit property.
niranjan (Expert) 23 April 2011
Yes you can recover possession on the basis of your title deed. You will have to file suit.
Advocate. Arunagiri (Expert) 23 April 2011
Ownership is different, possession is different. You could have transferred the title in your name. But, that does not mean you got the possession of the property also.
bhagwat patil (Expert) 24 April 2011
It might be noted in saledeed that the purchaser had handed over peaceful possession.this is sufficient to prove your possession provided the property should not be encroched by sombody.
