An application has been filed u/s 12 of DV act before a magistrate, and summons has been issued to the husband and his mother. Now the matter has been settled. What is the procedure to withdraw the complaint before the magistrate.Who can withdraw the complaint, the aggrieved person? or the Protection officer?

The petitioner may file a petition before the court in this regard, further petitioner may inform the court that the petition not to be pressed.
