Maintenance under domestic violence act

Recent days women’s are filing the case under Domestic Violence Act and claiming for the Interim & Monthly maintenance, if we are filing the HMOP also they are claiming for the maintenance.
Pls let us know, if HMOP is pending whether they can claim the maintenance under DV act.

no bar in claiming maintenance under DV act even if proceedings under other Acts are pending .

Yes, they can file maintenance claim case even if there is HMOP case pending, if they are neglected to be maintained.
