Selling a gala to the landlord

Dear Sir / MAdam,
My wife's father owned a gala at malad where hed had aprinting press.After his sudden demise 1.5 yrs back, my wife continued his business. Now her other sisters are forcing her to sell the property as they are in need of money and as also her fathers some loans could be cleared.
We are planning to meet the land lord.
Now, my question is if the sell the property to landlord himself are we entitled to pay him any amount for that transaction?

if your father in law owned the premises where is the question of payment of any maount to the landlord .?

was your father in law a tenant ?
