DEAR EXPERT,
i want to draft a legal document for a lady
her husband has been expired and he had 5 slum property standing his name after his death he left behind him his four son and his wife that lady now she wants to give each house to each of her son she don't want any thing what document i can draft for her

A family settlement is the best option which should be got registered so that the matter may be got resolved for ever.

I agree the advice of Adv Shri Raj Kumarji.

However, Usually slum properties are rented/ They are tenants, and if so, ask landlord to change on rent receipt too, as 4 sons and wife are legal heirs.

If the matter is in between family and it has to be settled between them then there is no scope for the intervention of the landlord and even the querist has not told that all properties are on rent.
