I am an Central Government servant i received on legal notice under section 80 CPC which relates to State Government not to Central Government. what should be next step. we have to reply advocate who send a legal notice or court etc.

That section for Notice is mainly to the Government be it State or Central, and it is replied to the Advocate sending the Notice popularly known as Lawyer's Notice.

Every party which is mentioned as respondent/recipient in the notice shall be regarded as pary to the notice and there is no compulsion to reply the notice.

Depends upon the subject matter and the concern of your office with the matter to decide whether there can be any involvement of your office or not.

Better send a reply of the notice through a lawyer or otherwise.
