sir wife filed a complaint against husband and inlaws in police station. it was not FIR, it was entered in general diary. now the matter between wife and husband is in court. now the third party who is applying for those copies under Right to inoramtion act from police station comes under Public Document?

Any entry made in the general diary of police is a public document and any one can obtain it under the provisions of RTI Act.
