file a police complaint stating cheques are lost

After bouncing the cheques , police complaint is of no use. It shows your guilt.

you send letter to X company that blank cheque was despoited . not to fill in amounts , dates , etc. send letter by Speed post AD .

if you are liable to pay rs 2 lakhs why dont you make payment . ul;timately you will have to contest the case .burdern of proof that blank cheuq has been issued lies on you

You can send a letter asking the company not to deposit the cheque as it is not given in discharge of any liability, but the same was handed over by another person to the company which you came to know later on.

but police complaint is useful till cheques were not bounce once, cheques got bounce wait for trial .....

Dnt worry you issued blank cheques, not filled ..trial have a lot of things...

There is no use to either lodge FIR nor to write a letter to X company because you have legally enforceable liability towards that company so none is going to believe upon your story. Who shall believe that you gave blank cheque to an ex employee of X company without any consideration.

When you have no money to pay to X company against your lawful liability, how is it possible issuance by you in favour of other persons blank cheuqes.

It shall be good for you to personally meet and settle your issues with X company otherwise face 138 NI Act so I completely differ with the views of all other experts on this matter.
