Stay Order

Dear Expert,

I am from Delhi and cos of some issue I need the stay order from jabalpur court. So I got the ref of some one who dome for me and get the stay order. Now he got the order and sent me by mail can any process I will check the stay order is ok not any fake doc.

Any website where I can check the stay order is issue by court only and correct.

you must have been furnished certified copy of order which bears the stamp and seal of the jabalpur court . in addition it must have been duly signed . in case a lawyer has forwarded you certified copy of order with a covering letter it would not be a fake order .

generally all courts in major cities have own website wherein deatils of orders passed in suit no etc are available for perusal by litigants .

When you have engaged an advocate then you have to trust him.
If not, then you better change to another.

You can proceed as per that court order which is sent by your counsel. If its fake mean he is responsible for future problems. Even though your query is some rude. Think some logically, if this query goes to your counsel's knowledge mean?

such things can happen(not generally) and there is nothing wrong in taking precaution as the court order is from a different region,where you may not have immediate access.

Since most of the courts are computerised,you may check the details from their website too.
