legal heirs of an individual who leaves behind his wife, one son and one daughter.his mother is alive and lives separately with her another son and daughter. She is having of properties and her husband's pension is her name to be included in the list of legal heirs?
Are there any case laws?

Yes, the mother of the deceased is one of the legal heirs. Even if the mother happens to be a crorepati, and already possessing several properties etc., still she is the mother of the deceased and as per law, she is the Class-I legal heir of the deceased.
