Police verification procedure

Respected Sir/Madam,
I have been selected for UCO Bank clerk and soon my profile will be sent for police verification.
My Query is,
Severe False criminal case under IPC-307 was filed against me two years ago and i was acquitted from that case year ago. Is it mandatory to mention that case details during Police Verification and please suggest me what procedure i should follow.

Awaiting solution soon. Please Help!
