Police verification procedure

Respected Sir/Madam,
I have been selected for UCO Bank clerk and soon my profile will be sent for police verification.
My Query is,
Severe False criminal case under IPC-307 was filed against me two years ago and i was acquitted from that case year ago. Is it mandatory to mention that case details during Police Verification and please suggest me what procedure i should follow.

Awaiting solution soon. Please Help!

Agreed, you may state that you were not convicted any time and there is no criminal case pending against you as on date. Generally the police will not b much bothered if you were acquitted in the criminal case.
