Lease agreements in kolkata westbengal

I am signing a lease agreement for my apartment in Calcutta. Does this lease agreement also come under the West Bengal tenancy act 1956? what are the areas I need to be careful so that I can get protection from the law in case of a law suit?

Lease is included in Urban Rent and Tenancy Act of all States. You need to hire the services of a local lawyer who shall get it drafted as per law.
