Government servant or public servant

(Querist) 20 June 2013 This query is : Resolved 
An employee is working in Hindustan Aeronautics Limited, Bangalore. It is a central government public sector undertaking.
Plz tell me whether the employee is considered as Government servant.

Irrespective of the Government undertaking, being a company/ corporation employee, he is merely a public servant, but not a Government employee.
