R.Ramachandran (Expert) 26 December 2011
Dear Satyartha,
You can take General Power of Attorney, wherein you are specifically authorised to take all necessary steps including filing of suit or other proceedings in order to protect the property in question. On the basis of such a GPA, you will be able to institute a suit on behalf of your father.
Sailesh Kumar Shah (Expert) 26 December 2011
Without gpa, you can't do so. GPA could be execute unilateral by your father at Gulf. Thereafter, when poa come at india, adjudicate at the collector office.
