Hi...iam staying in a single storied self owned independent bungalow/row house.i wanted to cover the terrace as i have severe leakage problems during monsoons and heat during summers....i intend to cover it only from top and not enclose the sides.can i do it????

Yes but after getting a building plan duly sanctioned by the concerned Municipality.

apply to municipality for sanction the renovation and alteration.

Is it independent bungalow or row house.
If it is row house, you may have to go thru the builder/ promoter's agreement
