Sir, My father purchased a land in yr 1978 and constructed a house. Land was purchased through the Manager of the land owner who expired in yr 1985. 1991 Owner file a case on illegal occupation and case is still pending in high court. recently the land was sold to four persons among them bein a lawyer pressurising us to vacate the House. He is not filing implementation suit in court. Can any action be taken against lawyer because of misuse of his position?

Pressuring you to vacate the house is not at all a unlawful act. Only when he is threatening you it can be treated as unlawful.

You file a suit to protect your possession in the property from forcible eviction. Complaints to Bar council are untenable since the lawyer is acting in his personal capacity and his acts may not amount to any professional miscoduct so as to enable the Bar council to interfere in the matter. You may resort to a criminal complaint also,if you are subjected to any such threat or coercion.

No case for Bar Council. It is private dispute. You have to take legal recourse.
