mode of payment of Fee in consumer forum

In our consumer forum at Jind Haryana,concerned officer always insisted for payment of consumer forum fee to be deposited in the shape of only bank challan (and it is a very big and painful job)whereas as per rule complainant can deposit fee through DD or Indian postal order etc,what i have to do in this regard.Kindly suggest

Only the concerned department of your state could help. In Bengal it s always DD.

Complain to the President of the State Commission. If this fails, file a PIL/Writ in the HC.

There are different rules in different states. In maharashtra it is paid by postel order.

Please complain with the state commission and thereafter with the National commission. Now a days. system is such that every right person has to fight for his right and a very few person wishes to fight except to surrender and follow such system for the sake of convenience.

In delhi its by the IPO if the claim is less than 20 Lakhs and D.D for higher claim
Please use your appropraite Rights such as RTI to disclose the appropraite information

when u file a next consumer case than file it with d.d.
and if dd not accepted by clerck then take it in to written.
and than complaint it to state council and all above concerning dept.

In Haryana, it has duly been notified that the fee of consumer forum shall be charged only through deposit in its accounts by way of State Treasury so there is no scope otherwise.

As i have go through some complaints filed in consumer forum Rewari,fee is being paid through IPO.
