My grand father has purchased a property in his own earning on 1960 and he expired on 1972 without writing will. After his death My father changed that property to his name by using legal heir certificate. We are two son and two daughters to my father all of us married. Now we asked our father to devid the said property equally for us. But he is not like to divid equally and he said that he devide the said property into two part for two sons only and also said that it is not ancester property to devid equally. Sir, Please

He is absolutely right. He can do anything with the property. Even if he does not divide and does not give any share to any of you i.e. any of his sons or any of his daughters, nothing can be done. He is well within his legal rights to deal with the property in whichever way that he wants. If he gives the property only to his two sons, he can do so. You cannot question that.

I agree with the expert advise of Mr. Anirudh.
The property is self-acquired in the hands of your father through legal heir certificate, it is his sweat will to partition or not.
