As the Case is at Final Stage instead of taking Risk Consult and Discuss and Appoint a Very Senior Advocate specialized in family issues at your Place.Meet him with all copy of documents/petitions/Affidavits Filed in Court

First of all get out of the original FIR in a respectable manner i.e., acquittal/ discharge against all of you, sword is still hanging.

Thereafter, obtain certified copy of entire proceeding with order sheets; show them to another local prudent lawyer (if you have lost faith in your lawyer) for proper appreciation of documents, evidences, order/judgment, guidance and proceeding.

Filing a 498a case is easy but getting it through is not that easy. If there are contradictions in the statement of the original complainant and related witness of the complainant, it is always beneficial for you. It is always advisable for you to take a help of a good lawyer to defend strongly to get the relief.
