Contempt

(Querist) 03 March 2016 This query is : Resolved 
Hello Sir my clients got interim status quo order from lower court in a permanent injunction case, but the respondents have voilated the status quo order and proceeded with the construction. The lower court lawyers has filed an application for the dis obedience of order under order 39 rule 2-A. Now can i file a contempt petition in High court of that interim status quo order in High court. please reply to my query as soon as possible.

The contempt application can be filed in high court but before that you have to withdraw the petition under order 39 rule 2a.
