whether the affidavit submitted in evidence is a part of suit/plain tee ?

whether it can be amended u/order 6 Rule 17 of civil procedure code

affidavit submitted is in lieu of examination in chief to prove the case made out in the plaint . it has to be tested in cross examination . untested evidence is no evidence . you cannot make out a new case in your affidavit .
