DEAR SIR
I AM FROM PUNE.CAME IN TO AGREEMENT WITH A COMPANY IN MAY 2012 HAVING ARBITRATION CLAUSE .AGREEMENT WAS NOT REGISTRERD NOR STAMP DUTY
PAIDFOR THAT AGREEMENR,OUR WORK CLOSED ON SEPTEMBER 2012.COMPANY USED BLANK CHQ AND FILED CASE AGAINST ME.I WON THAT CASE .
NOW COMPANY FILED CASE UNDER ARBITRATION .. I WANT TO KNOW IT IS VALID IN ARBITRATION WITHOUT REGISTRED AGREEMENT AND STAMP DUTY PAID THEY CAN CALL ME FOR ARBITRATION..IT IS BIND ON ME

Even if the Agreement is not registered, wherein an Arbitration Clause having been in existence and where a dispute is arise,either of the party, can go for an Arbitrator for arbitration.

I agree with the experts views, you may have to abide by the agreement, however you have strong defence, better challenge the dispute before the arbitrator properly.

Arbitration clause even if agreement not registered or stamped, is binding for both the parties but the luring to the querists by experts is not warranted.
