Can a Nominee in a co op housing society be in the Society committee? The owner is deceased and the flat is not yet transferred in my name. Meanwhile can i be un society committee?

The Managing Committee consists of members and not non-members except when a non-member is co-opted under the provisions of Bye-Laws of the Society, (State) Cooperative Societies Act and Rules framed by legislators of the State.

no nominee cannot be committee member . flat has not yet been transferred in his name by society . only after flat is trnasferred in his name can he stand for elctions to MC or bwe copted as member .
