Application for requesting court to proceed to next stage

Hello! Respected Members I want to know that if a witness of prosecution is not appearing before court then which application shall I file to request the court to proceed to next stage with specific Provision.
sec involves is 304 IPC

Apply for issuance of W/A for production of witness.

You can only ask for issue of summons to the witnesses, if they didn't turn up after receiving the summons pray for warrant of witnesses.
