Requesting learned experts to kindly opine. Four nos. land owners want to sell their land to one Pvt.Ltd. Company having two derectors. They want to give POA to the said Pvt.Ltd.company for arranging to Develop through the same Pvt.Ltd.Company represented by the said two Directors. My question is (1) Is it a valid/correct step? or (2) It will be better if the POA is given in the individual name of one of the Directors for entering into transactions with the said Pvt.Ltd.Company. (3) Can POA be given in the name of a Pvt.Ltd.Company?

In my opinion it is better to give POA in one of the directors name. Let us see what other learned members answer

POA can be given in the name of the company. Because the directors may come and go.
At the time of agreement any auhorised person will sign the papers on behalf of the company.

POA can not be given in the name of the Compnay. Only a legal person like a Director of the company can become an attorney but it can be mentioned that he is representing the particular company.

Yes Power of Attorney can be given to the Registered Company, as the company is a legal person in the eye of law. The company can sue and be sued .
