Starting A Coaching Institute

actually i wanna ask if any legal proceedings are required to be carried out for starting a coaching institute being a sole proprietor.
can i give receipts to students in consideration of fees.
please provide me assistance regarding my query at earliest.

You can obtain a license of Shops Act as yours is a sole proprietary firm.. and anyways you have to give receipts towards the the payments you get.

As per my knowledge, there is no requirement to obtain license/permission for this purpose except if you are a teacher and are expected only to devote your job and are prohibited for tuitions.

You should issue receipts and should show all in your income tax return as your income then there is no foul game on your part.
