Dear Sir,
I am a muslim married man from Tamil nadu. Now, i am working in abroad, and going to buy a property in my home town (near Trichy) in my name with my money only.Still now my family is joint family with my parents and my two younger brothers & One elder sister(all are married). Like this situvation, if i am buying in my name, whether it is considered as joint family property (or) property of my own. In future,my brothers(or) sister (or) my parents can claim any rights on this property.
Thanks in advance.

no chance to claim your self earned property, so you can buy any property, basically muslim and hindu deffer from sharing in property, so dont confuse, you buy a property yours only. ok

Dear Mr. Allabaksh,
Though you may be living in a joint family, the true concept of JOINT FAMILY PROPERTY is existing only in the Hindu law and is not known to Muslims.
Therefore, if you buy any property out of our funds in your name, then the said property will remain yours, and nobody else will be able to claim any share or right or title or interest in the said property.
Therefore, you can very well go ahead and purchase the property and get the same Registered in your name and be sure that nobody will be in a position to claim any right over the same. The property will remain absolutely and exclusively yours and yours only. All the Bests.

Nobody can claim any right over your property i.e property purchased with your own money. The concept of HUF or joint family property is typical to hindus and is not applicable to muslims.

Without if and buts, you are buying and registering property in your name with your hard earned money, nobody can have a slice of it.
