in gurdian ship petition can i pray for the maintance of child.or should i file different interim app in crt.mothers of children is housewife and both the child live with their father

When both children are residing with their father then it means he is maintaining them. You cannot be provided any maintenance for the children at this stage.

U cannot claim maintenance of children living with father.
U mean u want custody, then after getting it, u can file u/s 18 or 125

WHEN CHILDREN ARE LIVING WITH FATHER THEN THEY ARE BEING MAINTAINED BY HIM.
YOU CAN CLAIM ONLY WHEN THEY ARE IN YOUR CUSTODY.

Agree with experts, when the children are not living with the mother, mother can not claim maintenance for the children.
