Hi,

I live in Tamilnadu.What are documents needed for register General Power of Attorney ? Whether Photo is attached in GPA ?

The procedure could vary from State to State. The problem could be best cleared from the SRO.

In many states photo is taken while registering any document.

Your identity proof and witness would be asked while registering POA.

author, you approach the nearest SRO because the procedure is different from state to state and in most of the states,32-A (affixing photo with identity is compulsory) witness with photo is must for every document .

let me check with nearest SRO. As there is no photo proof pasted in POA, (deed made in2015 )only persons signed with voters id. Any idea to cancel these power deed.

Check it from Sub-Registrar, local lawyer or some deed writer. The procedure differs from state to state.
However, it would be better (no harm) in pasting/affixing photograph of executant as well as attorney on the document of GPA.
