contact MR Rk Nanda from LCi he practises in SC .

if you cant afford legal fees contact legal aid center . the issue would be whether your wife is earning Rs 30,000 as claimed by you . hire a detective agency get some evidence of her salary

The facts about her earning proofs and your non employment at present are not on record, hence, it would help you in supreme court is doubtful.

MUST GET PROOF OF WIFE'S EARNING.
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 18 February 2014
If you failed to prove her income of your wife in lower courts and HC as I advised earlier, your case in SC has no merit.

CONSULT SUPREME COURT LAWYER.
Rajeev Kumar (Expert) 18 February 2014
Prove your wife's income and your unemployment then there is merit in case otherwise you don't succeed. Ask her pay slip through RTI.

You have not furnished correct information here while posting your query here. If your income was only Rs. 8,000/- and confirmed by the court, the court would not have passed an order of Rs. 4,000/-, moreover the award amount was for your son and not for your wife, so where is your case? Also you have not told that whether it was an interim maintenance or final.
