Father name change

Hello,
My name is Avinash, I have completed my M.tech. In all my academic certificates my father name is printed as "Basavaraj H B", but his name is "Basavaraj H H". this is due to my fault, i.e. in 7th std school teacher had given me to fill up the form, which i filled wrongly. now i applied for passport and I couldn't correct it. Any solution so that I could correct my father name in all my academic certificates from 7th std to M.tech.

continue with same name . you would need court orders to correct your ssc certificate. any application for correction of errors have to be made within period of 2 years from passing out

yes sir I contacted the passport office but they are ready to give with my father name as in sslc certificate. and asking the full-form of initial "B"

Give the expansion of "B" and continue with the same name. The name is of your grand father only. To correct it in all your records, it is herculean task.

You can give expansion of B sounding somewhere near to H sound in the passport application and continue with the existing name and initials instead of bringing more troubles for yourself.
