Inter cast marriage

Dear Experts,
Namasthe,

I need one clarification and advice one of my friend (Brahmin) married other cast woman almost 28 years back, they have two daughters, they leading a respectable life in society and with relatives and friends, they married with a Brahmin community boy with their elder daughter.

First their agreed and after marriage they pointed my friend and their daughter for every time for their inter cast marriage. They are insulting like culprit breed and etc. and their son –in-law applied for divorce also.

What he can do my friend kindly give some guidance or advice.

Can he file complaint against them

I agree with above. Before actually adding I want to know if the mother of these daughters (your friends wife) SC/ST/OBC.
