Maintenance charges

I have been offered with possession of Flat in Dec'13 and registration is done in June'14 but Builder is asking for Maintenance charges from July'13. Please advise from which date - i am supposed to pay Maintenance charges. Below are the relevant dates:-
1. Final Payment made in June'13 (at the assurance from builder that flat will be ready by July'13)
2. Invitation Letter (from builder) to take possession received in Dec'13
3. Registery of flat happened in June'14
4. Possession not taken till date

Trifling Acts:
u may not v any choice.. futile attempts to save few k. Builder's lobby will not allow u to succeed.
Choice is yours!! uneconomic!!

It should be paid form date of possession only.

maintenance is payable from date possession is handed over by builder
