When ex-wife filed a complain in SHRC, were in SHRC chairperson sought report from Police.It was all exparty proceeding.My ex-wife alongwith her father & some of her relative gave vague allegation like illicit relation before my second marriage with the lady who is my now, In police. On which police has submitted report based on such vague allegation.
Can I file an RTI application to police to seek these statements.
Due police come under ambit of RTI espically Kashmir Police as we are Kashmir

RTI Act is still not applicable in J & K and moreover, the police otherwise is also not obliged to provide such information which is still under its investigation.
