An indian citizen boy is getting married to french national.Marriage will be performed at church in france.After marriage reception will be held in india.boy is working in delhi.Whether marriage can be registered in india.

To register any such marriage provisions of
the Foreign Marriage Act, 1969 would be required to be complied with.

even if it is registered in france.As first civil marriage will be performed i.e. in court after wards religious marriage will take place in church.then both of them will visit india.can it be registered again.where?

Ceremonial in church is of no importance if the France have law to perform such a marriage through or in court.Once it has been legally performed it could be registered in India too.

Religious recording can be an evidence of marriage but registration of the marriage is job exclusively under control of State.
