Dear Sir
we are staying at Maharashtra by birth. My father is southindian and mother is from mahashtra. but we staban at maharashtra.
My father's property (recd from their parents)is at udapi taluka. My father is above 75 and can't convinience for any property deal.
so my father has given the power of Athoney to my brother. (on 8.8.2013) and notary it at Maharashtra (Latur District)
and drafted power of attony mail to Udapi's lowyer.
but now problem is that if my brohter want to sale the father's property, than power of attony must be registered, without register we can't sale the property. this query created by karnatka's lowyer.
Please advice me that can we registered the power of attony at latur (how many days it will take -)
either without it we can sale the property.
we want go to karnataka and sale the property in next week , can we do it.
Please give me your valuable opinion.
Thanks & Best Regards

For the sale of immovable properties of the true owner, you need registered Power of Attorney.
