We have a shop in My mothers name who is old and cannot attend the Co-op housing society affairs and when I go to the Society to attend the affairs on my mothers behalf they say that I am not a member and therefore I cannot ask or say anything in the society matters and only my mother can do so. Please tell me how I can represent my mother in the society without the society having any objection.

Yes if your mother authorises you to represent her in the society matters , you can surely take part in its activities.

The objection of the society is accurate so it is better for you to have a written authorization from your mother to be represented through you.

Yes. Obtain a written authorisation from your mother to represent your mother in the society affairs. Once there is a written authorisation, they cannot take any objection.

Get Power Of Attorney of ur mother. Except voting right, or contesting Elections, to be Office Bearer, you will get all other power to represent your old aged mother.
