Hi,
Sir, I belong to a south Indian community born n raised at Delhi and my would be belongs to Bihar, born and raised at same place.
Since my hometown is in south (tanjore), my marriage is planned to take place there.
Since we both belong to different communities and working/residing at different cities, would I be eligible to get my marriage registered at south i.e. my hometown Tanjore (Tamilnadu).
I am having no permanent residence at Tanjore except for a residential plot sale deed document which I purchased last year. If it will suffice, my would-be have no documentation to show except for his general ID/Address Proof of Patna/Bihar.
Please advise if I should get the marriage registered at Delhi which is my permanent residence or it must be Tanjore? If Tanjore then what procedure to follow.
Thanks a lot in advance.

you would have to fill in marriage registration form . you would need marriage invitation card , certificate from pandit who performed marriage and 2 witnesses for registration .
