I purchased a mobile on 9.3.2011... after 3 months, it started giving problem and there was a problem with its mic. After lot of effort, Nokia replace my handset Nokia E 5 on 9.7.2012. I want to know that my phone was replaced with new one on 9.7.2011. what will be the expiry of warranty. Warranty is for 1 year. Is it expired on 9.3.2012 or 9.7.2012???

It expires on the terms and condition of guaranteed. usually not extended from date of purchase.

The warranty / guarantee will relate back to the date of original purchase. In this case one year warranty will end on 9.3.2012.

The date of warranty/guranatee is counted from the date of original purchase. That is from 9.3.2012

The warranty/guarantee starts from the date of purchase of item and not from it's replacement.

it will expire in march 2012 ie one year from date of orginal purchase
