Sirs,
My cousin brother married to a girl having
O.C.D.(Obsessive Compulsive Disorder) the girl's parents suppressed the information. She behaves harshly, at times aggressive and says "living with him is suicidal". Is it possible to get a divorce immediately on this ground without waiting for the stipulated 6 monthe or 1 year period, if we have to file a case please suggest the Acts under which we can seek divorce and also do we need to pay any alimony or maintenance. They are married fro 4 years. She has also admitted this in her college applications.

You may prey. Acceptance by court is doubtful. Try for the scope of Mutual consent Divorce.

Dear Querist
if the divorce is Mutual consent divorce then only it may be possible to get divorce quickly otherwise contested divorce take time.
If the OCD is non-curable then only the petition can be entertain on this ground otherwise not.

You can file suit for nullity where one year embargo is not there.
