Sir,
This Ramkumar from hyderbad..
My Father is worked in RBI last 7 years back.. he went from house on duty...
but missing in 2006 July
we have all settlement from RBI offcie..
but we have some Land in fathe name..
legal how to wil transfer for that land and fixed assets..

1)did you lodge police complaint that father was missing in 2006 . ?
2) after period of 7 years your father would be presumed dead Section 108 of the Indian Evidence Act, 1872 mentions that there is a presumption of death after seven years from the date of missing.
you would have to institute suit fr declaration that your father is dead as he was missing for 7 years .
3) after court declares him dead and you obtain a death certificate apply for letters of administration from court .

RBI as per its internal service rules might have declared civil death of missing/unheard of employee ………………….and settled the a/c………………….OR……………………….you might have obtained Civil Death Certificate from civil court.
You may have to obtain ‘Civil Death’ certificate. Your lawyer can help you.
Legal heir certificate is issued by authority in states as per state rules.
It might be thru Ex. Magistrate/Tehsildar in Suvidha Centre……………………..or by application to Sub-Tehsildar that shall forward to Patwari and after inquiry by Patwari the certificate is issued.

Receive the civil death certificate as advised and get the property transferred in the names of legal heirs.
