Termination of salary account by bank

Can a bank terminate my salary account simply because a harsh mail to the top management re: requesting for a credit card for which phone verification was done. My employer was shocked. A new salary account has been opened in another bank. Under what circumstances can banks act like this ? Can I take any action against them ? Thank you.

forget it . you cant waste your time running around courts . you have new salary account opened now . move on in life

May lodge complaint to the top management, RBI.
Generally public sector Banks does not take such steps. For which Bank you are referring?
